Photos of the Bulldog Meet and Greet Event in McKinney

I love taking photos of bulldogs and when I heard about Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue’s upcoming event, it seemed like a great opportunity to get out my camera!

One of the best parts about my job is getting to give back. It sounds a little silly but it really brings me a lot of joy to work with rescues and animal related charities! (Seriously! I spend a lot of time working with rescues… you can learn more here!)

I am so excited about what 2015 holds and am thrilled to be working with Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue. I have photographed some of their foster dogs last year and set up at Bull-O-Ween, their annual fundraiser event.

Also I have had several bulldog clients for photo sessions as well! (One of them- Hondo- was at the meet and greet event so I got to pet on him all over again and hear from my client how much he loves the photos… that just made my day!!)

Naturally, I can’t wait to photograph more bulldogs and help LSBCR! Like all dogs these bulldogs sure have unique personalities!

This past weekend I met up with the LSBCR group at Hollywood Feed in McKinney. They had a little meet and greet for those interested in adopting and also many bulldog friends and rescue graduates attended. It was a fun afternoon! I also visited with some of my past doggy models :)

I had to remind myself over and over again that adopting a bulldog is not an option right now…. lol. My husband would no doubt say NO! :) We have four wonderful dogs right now.

But one day, I am sure I will end up with a bulldog or two. (And a brittany too from BRIT, another favorite rescue of mine!)
