Iona~ American Boston Terrier Rescue
- Photographed and adopted March 2016

“Love of animals is a universal impulse, a common ground on which all of us may meet. By loving and understanding animals, perhaps we humans shall come to understand each other.” — Louis J. Camuti
I know I am only one ordinary person and so many others bear the larger burden of animal rescue. I’m in awe of rescues and their hard-working volunteers.
But when I started my journey as a pet photographer, I decided I’d donate my time and money to help more animals in need. It’s been a challenging but rewarding opportunity!
I am fully committed to helping and have donated my photography services and/or work regularly on photography projects with:
In addition, I periodically donate a portion of the session fee to a few of the rescue groups above. Contact me and ask about current rescue group promotions for pets adopted from a rescue.
All of these rescues are wonderful organizations and I highly recommended looking into them if you are thinking of adopting a new pet. As the saying goes, “When you adopt, you save two lives. The one you adopt and the one you make room for.”
During the 2015 holiday season, I started a personal project called, “A Home for Christmas” where I photographed over 25 rescue dogs with Santa. These dogs, and I, had one wish— that they would find the perfect home in time for Christmas. It was a fabulous project and so many of the dogs found their homes by Christmas! If your rescue would like to sign up a dog for the 2016 Santa photos, please email jenna@jennaregan.com
I also offer these Santa sessions for clients to have their dogs photographed in a unique outdoor setting. You can learn more on my blog or by emailing directly for 2016 session dates. This information will first be released to the VIP list, so be sure to join below if you haven’t already!
Your knack for coaxing out each dog’s personality and capturing it is evident in their photos, and everyone who sees them comments that the each dog’s nature seems to radiate from each snapshot. ?We are extremely grateful for your kindness and generosity, and we look forward to working with you again soon.”
