Themed Pet Photography Sessions

Throughout the year, I enjoy mixing things up and offering special sessions for my dog loving clients. What’s the difference you ask? Well, most of my regular sessions are more natural and photojournalistic. Basically, I’m focused on documenting what I see in front of me using posed and natural shots. Depending on your wants and needs there usually aren’t a lot of props and extras. (But that’s ultimately up to you!) So when it comes to the special sessions, it gives me a chance to go a different route. All my special sessions are unique and focused on a theme.

It may sound a little extreme, but I can promise you—these sessions are over the top fun! I have watched so many clients, laughing and planning and just having a great time before, during and after the sessions! It’s fun and playful (for humans too!) and sometimes it is truly complete chaos… but the photos always look amazing and everyone can’t wait to share. (Myself include!)

My husband and I don’t have any children. So our dogs (and cats and horses) are like are children! They consume our lives and we can’t imagine a world without them. And of course I know this is how my clients feel too. We all love our animals and we want to enjoy our times with them. So yes, we need to celebrate the milestones and holidays in their lives (and ours)! And of course, the dogs are all for any opportunity to be spoiled, even if they don’t know why! And believe me I am all about spoiling!

The themed sessions like Birthday, Senior and Puppy’s 1^st Year are available by appointment year round. The other special sessions are offered during specific times of year, anywhere from 6 weeks to 2 weeks before the holiday.
