What a fun time I had in Fort Worth photographing Spay Neuter Network’s 2017 Doggie Paddle event! It was so much fun photographing dogs of all breeds and sizes as they soaked up the sun and splashed around in the water.
The Doggie Paddle was held at Marine Park Pool in Fort Worth on Sept. 9th. There are many dog pool party events on the Dallas side of the Metroplex, but this event is the only one in the Fort Worth area which made it extra special.
This was the first time for this event and there was a great (human and canine) turnout. It was especially nice because the event was capped off at a certain number of attendees per group (morning and afternoon) so that everyone had space to play and relax.
When the gate opened that morning, I picked a lounge chair right away and immediately started with my camera– and never stopped– capturing the excitement of the dogs as they enjoyed a fun day at the pool. I captured so many fun photos that the gallery has double of what I thought I would have to share.
It was hilarious watching the antics of some very happy pups! They raced around, chased tennis balls, ran through the water, slid down the slide, and generally just enjoyed themselves in the moment as only dogs can do! I spent all day smiling and laughing. I hope you can see the fun and happiness in the photos.
